I really don't know where to start! How do I know what service to book?

We try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to offering you help. You can speak to our staff to aid you in your choice of service. We expect that you may have lots of questions relating to the service, the junk and the type of collection that will suit you best. Our staff are highly trained and look forward to answering any queries you may have? If you don't want to talk to one of our staff you can e-mail us or contact us on Facebook or Twitter. We embrace the use of mobile technologies and are happy to cast an eye over the junk you need collected, send us a picture and we'll send you back our recommendation for the service you require.

I work all day, how do I get my junk collected?

We stagger our working hours several times a week to accommodate your collection requirements. Some mornings we will start at 6am and on some evenings we will finish at 8pm. Whatever your needs we will do our utmost to facilitate them. When we take bookings we give a two hour time slot in which we will arrive and can have our Junk operatives call you prior to arrival to ensure minimum disruption to your day.

What if I'm not sure if the Junk Service is the right one for me?

Simply Junk is a part of the larger privately owned recycling company, Simply Waste Solutions. We are an extension of Simply Wastes services and follow the Simply edicts of 'Zero to Landfill' and customer service that is second to none in our industry. Simply Waste Solutions has a service offering that goes far beyond junk collection vehicles; we offer a comprehensive Total Waste Management service that will suit any need that you may have. Our staff are happy to talk about any requirements you may have, whether they be junk related or not.

What do you mean by Junk?

By junk we mean any unwanted items that you may have. It may be the things cluttering your garage or a room in your office. It may be furniture, the remnants of restoration or decorating works or just plain old rubbish. We collect it all and dispose of it in the most environmentally friendly manner. Junk vs Skip Hire?

The service Simply Junk offers is very different to that of skip hire. The junk service takes the work out of waste removal. Our two man team will arrive on site within the designated two hour timeslot, and load the waste for you; they will even sweep up after themselves, with skip hire you will have to do the work of loading yourself. Our junk service also avoids the need for obtaining costly licences and bay suspensions that many local authorities charge for. Another ever present problem that skips attract is fly tipping. People passing by or even your own neighbours may take advantage of the fact that you have a skip and fill it with their own waste. This means that you would have to pay for the disposal of someone else's rubbish! Skip hire does have a benefit over our junk service when it comes to long term projects. The junk van will come, collect and go again which suits people that have no room or no wish to store the waste. However if you are working on a lengthy job that requires waste to be stored up prior to collection a skip is the perfect answer. What if I have an item that needs taking apart before it could fit in your junk van?

Here at Simply Junk we offer a dismantling service at no extra charge. If you have an old shed, a wardrobe, some desks or a shelving unit that you cant take apart yourself our Simply Junk operatives will do it for you. We come fully equipped with all the tools to ensure that we do a full waste collection, whatever the junk may be. 

NB. The dismantling service is free of charge but you could incur additional cost through our operatives having to spend extra time at site. Please speak to one of our friendly service team to discuss your requirements.
